To install magento on the local server you need to do the following steps. The same process explains installation of magento on the live server:
Step – 1 Open the web server (Like WAMP or XAMPP) on your machine. In our case it is WAMP Server.
Step – 2 Download the community edition of Magento. To download click here
Step – 3 Unzip the files into your server’s root directory
Step – 4 Create a database in mysql for magento
Step – 5 Before starting installation please check that the curl extension should be enable in your WAMP server
Step – 6 Open the magento folder in your browser (http://localhost/magento) and click on the checkbox and click on the continue button.
Step – 7 Save your localization and click on the continue button
Step – 8 Fill all the required fields and click on the continue button
Step – 9 Create the Admin account and fill the all required fields and click continue
Step – 10 Your magento has been successfully installed
